Chris Norman was one of the founders of Smokie in the early 70ths. He was with the band until 1986 as he left to go on with solo-projects.

He's still on tour with his own band.

Alan Silson was one of the former of the original SMOKIEs.

He left the band in 1996 and did some solo projects.

1986 Alan Barton came to  SMOKIE and was now the Lead-Singer.

Up to  1995 - as he died after an tragical accident on the motorway A4 in Germany.

Pete Spencer - drummer and founder of the band in the early 70th.

Pete left Smokie in the 80ths, because he didn't want to go on tour anymore. He joined Chris band later.
